MAIN CONFERENCE

The Break Forth Canada 2010 Main Conference runs on Friday January 29, 6:30 P.M. to Sunday, January 31, 3:30 P.M., at various locations in downtown Edmonton.

  • There are five elective class sessions running during the main conference. Indicate your 1st, 2nd and 3rd choice for EACH elective class time on your registration form. We will do our best to accommodate your choices. Some class sizes are limited. Your entrance is based on a first-come/first-served basis. Sold out in '09! Register before the Super-Early Bird date (Nov 10/09) to avoid disappointment!
  • Your elective classes must be chosen when you pre-register. If no classes are selected, you will be assigned classes. If you are registering on-line; your registration will not be accepted without three different choices for each elective time slot.
  • If you change your mind about what classes you want to take you may exchange your Elective Class ticket and pick a new class from whatever classes are available, at our on-site Trading Centre.
  • Elective classes will be held at the Shaw Conference Centre, Alberta College, Crowne Plaza, McDougall United Church, Paramount Theatre, Stanley A. Milner Library, Sutton Place, The Westin and other downtown venues.
  • Casual dress and comfy shoes are recommended as your schedule may require some outside walking.
  • Indicate your Main Conference Registration in Section B on the registration form.
  • Registrations must be postmarked or received in our office with full payment by the dates listed to qualify for pricing.
  • 5% GST is added to all fees.
  • Pre-registration for the Main Conference is available until Jan 5/10
  • Registration check-in and walk-in registration (space permitting) begins @ 3:00 P.M. on Friday, Jan 29/10 at the Shaw Conference Centre 9797 Jasper Avenue, Edmonton, AB.

To assist you in choosing your classes we have broken them down into two formats:

CONCERT - MICHAEL W. SMITH & LINCOLN BREWSTER**

To start off this worship-filled night we’ve brought back an absolute favorite, Lincoln Brewster, who knows how to create worship music that is thought-provoking and joy-filled. It’s impossible to not be moved by the unbridled passion he brings to his art. He has a mile-long list of hits including his current hits, “Today is the Day” and “God You Reign”.

Legendary artist Michael W. Smith was recently inducted into the Gospel Music Hall of Fame and we are thrilled he’s returning to Break Forth Canada. Smith’s music spans across the globe uniting people from every generation in song. Whether it’s “Friends,” “I’ll Lead You Home,” “A New Hallelujah,” “This Is Your Time,” “Healing Rain,” “Stand” or countless others … they all have one thing in common. Michael’s music speaks to us where we are at …straight to our hearts. ON-LINE REGISTRATION

  • On-line pricing will automatically change at midnight, Mountain Standard Time, for each of the early pre-registration rates. If you have not completed payment by midnight, you will be charged the higher registration rate.
  • If you are entering a group, you have 24 hours to enter your entire group from the time you first open the file until payment is completed. If you exceed 24 hours you must start a new group and re-enter your registrations.
  • Your registration will not be accepted without three different choices for each of the FIVE elective class sessions.
  • Contact your credit card company prior to procssing your on-line cc payment to ensure that your cc payment will be approved. If your credit card payment is declined on your on-line registration you must start a new group and re-enter your registrations. This is a security measure that we cannot alter.
  • Once you have completed your on-line registration and made payment, for security reasons you will not be able to make any changes to your registration. You may change your classes at the Trading Centre on-site or you may add on a Pre-Conference Intensive Learning Workshop by mail, fax or email (the $10 discount will not apply).
  • You must print out your payment receipt at the time you submit payment. There is a $10 (plus GST) charge for duplicate or replacement receipts.
  • Payments for on-line group registrations will only be accepted in the form of ONE Mastercard/Visa payment for the entire group. Please ensure that your credit card has a large enough limit to be approved. Once you submit your on-line credit card payment you can not go back and update it. If your credit card payment is declined you must start a new group and re-enter your registrations. Contact your credit card company prior to processing your on-line credit card payment to ensure that your credit card payment will be approved.
  • Please be very accurate in your data entry, particularly when selecting your Pre-Conference Intensive Learning Workshop, the 3 elective class choices for the Main Conference and the Concert Ticket.
IMPORTANT:
When you are registering in the Registration Wizard, you are on a secure portion of the website. If you click on the conference site (left menu) or the website browser (back button) while the Registration Wizard is open, the wizard will minimize on the taskbar. You will need to reopen this to begin your registration process again.

If you click on the conference site (left menu) 'Register an Individual', 'Register a Group' or 'Group Login' while the Registration Wizard is open, your current Registration Wizard will close and a new Registration Wizard will open. If you are entering an Individual Registration you will need to begin your registration again. If you are entering a Group, you will need to log-in again to your Group Registration by clicking on Group Login. To complete your last registration click on 'Update Choices' on the 'Current Registrations' list (bottom of page).

PAYMENT

Payment must be included with ALL registration forms and cannot be sent at a later date by fax, secure on-line, mail, phoned in or hand-delivered. Therefore, please do not send in any registrations via fax, mail, on-line or hand delivery if you are planning on sending payment later. Any registration forms without payment will be confidentially discarded.

There are two ways to pay:

  • Credit Card - We accept Visa and Mastercard for on-line, fax, mail or hand-delivered registrations. Please ensure that your credit card has a large enough limit to be approved.   • Checks - Accepted for mail and hand-delivered registrations only. Make payable to Break Forth Ministries.

RATES

  • Rates – Click on Rates for all our registration fee pricing.
  • Registration must be postmarked or received in our office with full payment by the dates listed to qualify for pricing.
  • All persons registering under a fictitious name, i.e. Person 1, will be charged a $10 transfer fee upon registration check-in.

TYPES OF REGISTRATION

There are two different types of registration.

  • Individual - comprised of 1 - 4 persons. Click on Register an Individual on the menu to the left.
  • Groups - comprised of 5 or more people. Click on Register a Group on the menu to the left.

WAYS TO REGISTER

There are THREE WAYS to register. Registrations are NOT accepted by phone or email.

  • On-line - Click on either Register an Individual or Register a Group on the menu to the left to complete your on-line registration. Step by step instructions for both types of on-line registrations are included below.

IMPORTANT:
When you are registering in the Registration Wizard, you are on a secure portion of the website. GROUP REGISTRATION GENERAL INFORMATION

GROUP CONTACT PERSON
  • All groups must have a designated contact person with an email address. This person is responsible for the on-line registration process and is the person Break Forth Ministries will contact should any questions/problems arise on your group registrations. The contact person is NOT required to attend any part of the Break Forth Conference. If they are attending the conference, they need to complete an Individual Registration form.
GROUP LOGIN
  • Once entry of group registrations has begun, rather than completing the process immediately, you may 'Log Out' of the system. You are given 24 hours from the time you began your group, to bring your registrations to completion. During this 24-hour period you can make changes to and/or delete existing registrants or add new registrants to the group you already started.
  • If you are entering a group, you have 24 hours to enter your entire group from the time you first open the group until payment is completed.  If you exceed 24 hours you must start a new group and re-enter all your registrations. Please note that the 24- hour countdown begins from when you first began your group.
  • Click on Group Login and you will be asked to enter your email address and the password you supplied as the contact person when you began your group. You may log out and log back in as many times as you like during this time, but be sure to bring the group to completion before 24 hours is over.
  • Groups are considered complete when your payment has been submitted. Should your group registrations not be completed within the 24-hour period, our database will retain your old group and all the registrations, however, this information is NOT active, and therefore you are NOT registered.
  • Should your credit card payment be declined for any reason you will not be able to access your registration to bring this to completion due to the security of this site. You MUST begin a new group and re-enter your group contact information, as well as ALL the individual registrations. When you begin a new group, you will need to enter a new password.
GROUP PASSWORD

  • There are no specifications to your password; it can be any combination of alpha and numeric characters. However, you cannot reuse your password. If a group you have begun has not been brought to completion within the 24-hour time period, you will need to begin your group registration process again with a different password. If you begin a second group, you will need a new password.
GROUP REGISTRATIONS

Group registrations can be entered one of two ways:

  • The contact person can collect and enter ALL the registrations; or
  • Each individual in a group can enter their own registration. To do this, the group contact person begins the process by filling in the contact information under Register a Group. The contact person would then advise each individual in their group of the email address and password (supplied by the contact person when the contact form was filled out). Each individual can now add their own registration to the group by using our Group Login option. (See above for detailed explanation.)

It is the responsibility of the contact person to make sure each member is aware of the 24-hour time limit.

The contact person is also responsible for bringing the registrations to completion within that time frame by submitting payment.

This option could be very helpful for large groups, as long as each person entering is very diligent about not changing/deleting existing records.

Be sure you as the contact person and/or any one else entering registrations in your group, exits the group properly by choosing the ‘Log Out’ option shown above your Current Registrations list at the bottom of the page.

STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS: REGISTER AN INDIVIDUAL

Before beginning the registration process you must have the following ready:

  • Payment in the form of ONE VISA or MASTERCARD. Please ensure that your credit card has a large enough limit to be approved. Once you submit your on-line credit card payment you can not go back and update it. If your credit card payment is declined you must start a new group and re-enter your registrations. Contact your credit card company prior to processing your on-line credit card payment to ensure that your credit card payment will be approved.
  • Individual registrations are considered processed when your payment has been submitted and approved. If your credit card payment is declined for any reason you will not be able to access your registration to bring this to completion due to the security of this site. You MUST begin your registration again and re-enter your information.
  • One choice for the Pre-Conference Intensive Learning Workshop (if you are attending the Pre-Conference Intensive Learning Workshop)
  • 3 choices for each of the 5 elective slots for the Main Conference (if you are attending the Main Conference). The process cannot be completed without these.
  • A choice for the Michael W. Smith & Lincoln Brewster Concert (if you are attending the Concert). Ticket is non-transferable and must be purchased at the same time as registering for the main conference to qualify for discounted price.

1. Click on Register an Individual and Click 'Next' in the Registration Wizard.

2. Step 1 – INDIVIDUAL REGISTRATION

Enter your Personal Information and Home Church information (*indicates required fields). Click 'Submit'.

3. Step 2

a) To register for a PRE-CONFERENCE INTENSIVE LEARNING WORKSHOP

If NOT attending a Pre-Conference Intensive Learning Workshop, click on 'Next Choice'.

If you ARE registering for a Pre-Conference Intensive Learning Workshop, with the Main Conference or by itself, click on the drop-down menu and select your workshop. Click 'Save Choices'. Then click on 'Next Elective'.

  • b) To register for the MAIN CONFERENCE - ELECTIVE CLASSES

If NOT attending the Main Conference, click 'Checkout'.

If you ARE registering for the Main Conference, select your 1st, 2nd and 3rd choices from the drop-down menus. (Note: The current elective is highlighted white.) Click 'Save Choices' and 'Next Elective' or 'Next Choice'. Repeat this step for all 5 electives (even if you know you can't attend all the classes).

IMPORTANT: If you neglect to enter 3 choices per elective, or enter the same choice twice in one elective time slot, your data will be deleted when you click submit and you will need to re-enter.

c) To register for the CONCERT - MICHAEL W. SMITH & LINCOLN BREWSTER

If NOT attending the Michael W. Smith & Lincoln Brewster concert, click on 'Checkout'.

If you ARE registering for the Michael W. Smith & Lincoln Brewster concert with the Main Conference, click on the drop-down menu and select the concert. Click 'Save Choices.' Click 'Checkout.'

IMPORTANT: Registrants are invited to add on the Michael W. Smith & Lincoln Brewster concert to their main conference registration at the amazing low price of $15!* Tickets will go on sale to the general public beginning 10/2/09.***

4. Step 3 – CHECKOUT

Your Registration Summary sheet will show your registration fees due. Review calculations to ensure these are correct.

Scroll to bottom of page and review your workshop, elective class and concert selections. If the information is incorrect, click on 'Update Choices'. This will return you to your workshop, elective class and concert selections. Click on the 'Pre-Conference Intensive Learning Workshop', 'Main Conference Elective A to E' or 'Concert.' (Note: Current choice is highlighted white.) Make your corrections and click 'Save Choices.' To return to the Registration Summary page, click 'Checkout.'

To review your name and address information, click on 'Update Choices' and 'Return to Registration.' Make your corrections and click on 'Submit.' To return to the Registration Summary page, click 'Checkout.'

Print a copy of your Registration Summary by clicking on the 'Print' button.

IMPORTANT: There is a $10 (plus GST) fee for duplicate or replacement receipts.

5. Step 4 - PAYMENT

Once you are certain your entries are correct, complete your registration by entering your payment by VISA or MASTERCARD (enter card number with no spaces) and click ‘Purchase Now’.

IMPORTANT: Individual registrations are considered complete when your payment has been submitted and approved. If your credit card payment is declined for any reason you will not be able to access your registration to bring this to completion due to the security of this site. You MUST begin your registration again and re-enter your information.

If you receive the below error message after entering your payment information, fields have been missed in the payment information ONLY. This is not referring to information on the actual registrant information.

"You must enter information in all the fields. Please go back and ensure that all fields have been filled out correctly."

Click on go back and correct your payment information. Click 'Purchase Now'.

Print the receipt for your records.

IMPORTANT: There is a $10 (plus GST) fee for duplicate or replacement receipts.

You will receive immediate payment confirmation by email.

Your registration has been submitted and is now complete.

                • A Pre-Conference Intensive Learning Workshop choice for every person in your group attending a Workshop.
                • 3 choices for each of the 5 elective slots within the Main Conference for every person in your group attending the Main Conference. You cannot proceed without these.
                • A Michael W. Smith & Lincoln Brewster Concert choice for every person in your group attending the concert. Ticket is non-transferable and must be purchased at the same time as registering for the main conference to qualify for discounted price of $15!
                • Complete address for your home church. These are required fields.
                • Complete addresses for each registrant. These are required fields.
                • Payment in the form of ONE VISA or MASTERCARD. Please ensure that your credit card has a large enough limit to be approved. Once you submit your on-line credit card payment you can not go back and update it. If your credit card payment is declined you must start a new group and re-enter your registrations.                 1. Click on Register a Group and select 'Next' in the Registration Wizard.

                Enter your Group Contact and Home Church information (*indicates required fields). Click 'Submit'.

                Once you submit your group information, you cannot go back and update it. Please make sure all the information is correct and click 'ok'.

                3. Step 2 – INDIVIDUAL REGISTRATION

                Enter the first registrant's Personal Information and Home Church information (*indicates required fields).

                If you scroll to the bottom of this page, you will see a summary of your 'Current Registrations'. (You can refer to this list to view the registrations that have been entered.)

                Click 'Submit'.

                4. Step 3

                a) To register for a PRE-CONFERENCE INTENSIVE LEARNING WORKSHOP

                If registrant is NOT attending a Pre-Conference Intensive Learning Workshop, click on 'Next Choice'.

                If registrant IS registering for a Pre-Conference Intensive Learning Workshop, with the Main Conference or by itself, click on the drop-down menu and select the workshop. Click 'Save Choices'. Then click on 'Next Choice'.

                b) To register for the MAIN CONFERENCE - ELECTIVE CLASSES

                If registrant is NOT attending the Main Conference, click 'Checkout.'

                If registrant IS attending the Main Conference, select the 1st, 2nd and 3rd choices from the drop-down menus. (Note: The current elective is highlighted white.) Click 'Save Choices' and 'Next Elective' or 'Next Choice.' Repeat this step for all 5 electives (even if you know you can't attend all the classes).

                  IMPORTANT: If you neglect to enter 3 choices per elective, or enter the same choice twice in one elective time slot, your data will be deleted when you click submit and you will need to re-enter.

                  c) To register for the CONCERT - MICHAEL W. SMITH & LINCOLN BREWSTER

                  If NOT attending the Michael W. Smith & Lincoln Brewster concert, click on 'Checkout'.

                  If you ARE registering for the Michael W. Smith & Lincoln Brewster concert with the Main Conference, click on the drop-down menu and select the concert. Click 'Save Choices.' Click 'Checkout.'

If the information is incorrect, click on 'Update Choices'. This will return you to the registrant's workshop, elective class and concert choices. Click on 'Pre-Conference Intensive Learning Workshop' or 'Main Conference Elective A to E' or 'Concert.' (Note: Current choice is highlighted white). Make your corrections and click 'Save Choices.' To return to the Registration Summary page, click 'Checkout.'

                  To review registrant's name and address information, click on 'Update Choices' and 'Return to Registration.' Make your corrections and click 'Submit.' To return to the Registration Summary page, click 'Checkout.'

                  To delete registrant's name, workshop, elective class and choices, click 'Checkout.' Scroll down to the bottom of the Registration Summary page, locate the registrant's name and click 'Delete.'

                  6. a) To add additional registrants, click 'Add Individual' and repeat # 3-5 in step by step instructions. Once complete proceed to #7 in instructions.

                  OR

                  b) If you have more registrants to enter at a later time, click 'Logout' (to exit registrations).

                  Remember that you have only 24 hours from when you began your group to complete the payment process.

                  After you have logged out, you can log back in to make changes and/or delete registrants already entered or to add new registrants to your group. To access your group registrations, click Group Login and enter your email address and password.

                    A blank Individual Registration form will appear with your group 'Current Registrations' summary on the bottom of the page. Verify the names to ensure you have accessed the correct group before making any changes/additions.

                    7. Step 4 – CHECKOUT

                    Click ‘Checkout’ button once all registrations are entered. Your Registration Summary sheet will show your total registration fees due. Review calculations to ensure these are correct.

                    Total # of registrants in group attending a Pre-Conference Intensive Learning Workshop ONLY.

                    Total # of registrants attending Pre-Conference Intensive Learning WITH the Main Conference.

                    Total # of registrants for the Main Conference

                    Total # of registrants for the Michael W. Smith & Lincoln Brewster Concert

                    Scroll to bottom of page and review your group 'Current Registrations' summary for each registrant and their choices. This will be your last time to verify your entries. If any registrant's choices are incorrect, click on 'Update Choices.' This will return you to their workshop, elective class and concert selections. Click on the 'Pre-Conference Intensive Learning Workshop', 'Main Conference Elective A to E' or 'Concert.' (Note: Current choice is highlighted white.) Make your corrections and click 'Save Choices.' To return to the Registration Summary page, click 'Checkout.'

                    To review your registrant's name and address information, click on 'Update Choices' and 'Return to Registration.' Make your corrections and click on 'Submit.' To return to the Registration Summary page, click 'Checkout.'

                    To delete an entire individual registration, click 'Checkout.' Scroll to the bottom of the registration summary and locate the registrant's name and click 'Delete.'

                    Print a copy of your Registration Summary by clicking on the 'Print' button.

                    8. Step 5 - PAYMENT
